The word Arangetram literally translates to “ascending the center stage".   In the world of Bharatanatyam, it refers to the solo performance of a dancer after years of training in the classical art form. It is a graduation ceremony marking a milestone for the dancer in his or her dance journey. 

Varsha  has been learning Bharathanatyam from her Guru, Radhika Unnithan since 2013.

Varsha will be taking center stage at the Dale F. Halton theater on September 3rd  for her  Bharathanatyam Arangetram. During the event she will be performing dances choreographed and conducted by her Guru, Radhika Unnithan.
